Right before the New Year arrives, we guarantee you one of the most unforgettable parties of 2012 at Da High with KRUNK Live, where the awesome Nanci, Phoebe (Congo Natty Bass, UK) and DJ WuLu (92 Points, UK) will bring the roof down!

Wulu, Nanci and Phoebe have known each other from their London school days. They came together on a musical level around 2007, at a time when dubstep was still innovative and ruling the underground in the UK. Both Wu-lu and Phoebe were repping their 10 strong We Are Dubist crew, while Wu-Lu was producing and DJing as ‘Mileage’ and Phoebe was spitting as ‘Iron Dread’. This was a collective pushing out all forms of heavy weight bass music and sound system culture.

Nanci and Phoebe as a partnership strengthened over time and they began working with Congo Natty, going on to release the single ‘Notorious’, their first underground jungle hit. Their fresh take on hosting DJ sets breaks all genre conventions, creating a new eclectic sound, mixing hip-hop flows, powerful and provoking lyrics, booming bass lines and stringent bluesy harmonies. As a DJ, Wu-Lu is known through all different musical circles to be the person to rock the party every which way, but still have the power to blow you away when just sitting on your own with your headphones on.

As time and space moves so, the three of them have come together again, regularly performing around the UK, pushing the new sounds of UK bass music and incorporating jungle and hip-hop together.
